    Are you an experienced, dynamic, driven professional?

    Fundy Honda in Saint John, N.B. is currently seeking a BDC Sales Coordinator to handle inbound and outbound sales related calls, internet leads & live online client chats to conduct initial sales lead qualification and follow up.  

    Responsibilities:

    • Ensure customer relationships are maintained through after sales scheduled outreach, and follow up with customers, as needed,
    • Communicate professionally through our live online chat portal
    • Conduct a needs analysis to educate customers about options, articulate key selling points/features and benefits and identify sales opportunities and prospects with new and returning customers,
    • Nurture these leads until ready to be passed on to a sales representative through a showroom visit or sales call,
    • Manage data for existing, new and prospective clients in CRM tool, ensuring all communications and outreach is logged and documented,
    • Maintain a strong work ethic with a total commitment to success.

    Required Skills:

    • High School diploma or equivalent,
    • Professional and articulate communication skills with ability to manage the correspondence between the sales team and their clients verbally and in writing,
    • Ability to multi task and navigate different computer applications,
    • Strong attention to detail,
    • Excellent organizational, prioritizing and time management skills,
    • Ability to work in a fast paced environment,
    • Strong sales aptitude & closing techniques coupled with an outgoing and positive attitude,
    • Driven to succeed and achieve targets,
    • Minimum 1 year sales and customer service experience is an asset,
    • Excellent telephone communication skills and mannerisms,
    • Negotiation, and objection handling skills,
    • Flexibility to work Saturdays and evening shifts as staffing schedules require. Operating hours are between 8:00am and 8:00pm Monday to Friday and 9:00am to 1:00pm on Saturday.  Scheduled shifts will be within those hours.

    Position Overview:

    The vehicle detailer is responsible for efficiently washing and detailing the interior and exterior of our vehicles being delivered to our clients. Having experience in areas of paint buffing, interior upholstery cleaning and polishing is an asset.

    The candidate will possess the following:

    • Valid & clean driver’s license

    Education/ Experience:

    Position Summary and Accountabilities:

    The Financial Services Manager is responsible for handling all of the financial, legal and administrative requirements of the vehicle transaction, ensuring that customers receive a satisfactory financial agreement between the dealership and their financial institution. First by greeting the customer and then presenting various options that will enhance their purchase as well provide peace of mind, value added services for the long term.

    Customer Service:

    • Greet customers and visitors in a professional, friendly and effective manner, answer queries and provide information.
    • Review sales agreement with the customer to ensure vehicle, options and prices are correct.
    • Complete credit application with customer and discusses payment terms. Obtain credit approval and notify customer of credit approval or any conditions.
    • Provide customers with thorough explanation of aftermarket products and extended warranties.
    • Complete paperwork necessary for vehicle sales and leases in a timely and efficient manner.
    • Ensure documentation is correct i.e. title, lien information, taxes etc. Forward to Accounting Department for processing.
    • Perform lien check on all trade-ins and confirm payout/lien amount with financial institution and buyout terms.
    • Provide customers with complete explanation of manufacturer and dealership service procedures and policies.
    • Other duties as required.

    Finance and Insurance:

    • Develop relationships with the financial institutions, manufacturers; sources and manage alternative/competitive interest rates and finance programs.
    • Processes finance and lease transactions accurately and fairly through financial sources to secure approval.
    • Process all federal, provincial, and corporate paperwork related to vehicle transactions.
    • Comply with all federal and provincial regulations for new and used vehicles and Accounting Department procedures.
    • Maintain insurance files.
    • Liaise and build relationships with internal staff, Sales Department and Accounting.
    • Establish and maintain a program which will ensure 100 percent turnover to the F&I department.
    • Provide sales staff with current information about finance and lease programs.
    • Provide ongoing training to sales team on the benefits of financing, insurance and extended service programs.
    • Work with the sales staff to secure the required targets set out by the company are met.
    • Coordinate Finance and Sales Departments forecasting to achieve desired levels of penetration and income.
    • Ensure collection of all finance and insurance fees.
    • Other duties as required.

    Education, Skills and Experiences:

    • Post-secondary education or College courses.
    • 1-3 years automotive dealership Business Office experience.
    • Competitive/commissioned sales experience.
    • Solid understanding of automotive terminology.
    • Very strong communication and business skills.
    • Proven problem solving expertise.
    • Excellent organization and multi-tasking abilities.
    • Good visual acuity and demonstrated observational skills.
    • Computer literate (internet, email, file sharing.)
    • Knowledge of various software – Word, Excel, PowerPoint, CRM, Dealer Management Systems programs and Reynolds.
    • Class 5 driver’s license, Clean Driver’s abstract
    • Able to maintain filing systems and database.
    • Superior telephone manners and strong interpersonal skills.
    • Strong customer service orientation.
    • Fluent in English, second language an asset.
